This magnificent end unit Penthouse was completely remodeled with everything new just a couple years ago! The Pacific Ocean stretches out as far as you can see in front of you. You often see turtles, spinner dolphins and even whales when they are in season! Enjoy the large Oceanfront Deck, BBQ, and the Oceanfront Pool.

With sweeping views of the Pacific ocean and cool breezes flowing through every room in this first class and beautifully decorated penthouse you will never want to leave! Located on the southernmost point of Kauai, along with its unique orientation and height, it is perfectly situated to take maximum advantage of the trade winds. The resulting breeze keeps the penthouse cool without having to close the windows and use air conditioning. You'll love the open and breezy feel in a way you cannot experience in other Poipu condos.

Just outside on your private lanai you can start your day with coffee on and enjoy the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean stretching out in front of you. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything new; full sized range, refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water dispenser, microwave, full size toaster oven, ultra quiet dishwasher. There are beautiful granite countertops and white cheery cabinets. Even the kitchen offers an oceanfront view! There are two master suites one with a bathtub/shower and the other with a walk in shower. The family room has a 65" flatscreen television with free Internet and cable TV. You can casually dine outside on the lanai, enjoy a quick breakfast at the kitchen counter or more formal dining in the dining room with it's beautiful solid teak table.

The Poipu Palms property also has a large oceanfront deck and pool along with a lava rock shower, lounging cabana and charcoal grill. Charcoal and lighting fluid are provided. The Grand Hyatt (with incredible restaurants) and Shipwrecks Beach are an easy 1/2 mile walk away along a stunning oceanfront trail (shown in the pictures). Brenneckes Beach, Poipu Beach, shops, deli and restaurant are also an easy 1/2 mile walk.

For your safety we provide Keyless and Contactless check-in and out and use Enhanced Cleaning protocols using disinfectants according to WHO & CDC guidelines. We always provide antibacterial hand soap at every sink.

Perfect accommodations

It is a great location, with beautiful views. We appreciated access to their beach chairs and toys. Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach a short drive away. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful R&R

The views and ocean breeze through the home are amazing! Walking distance to Poipu beach to marvel at the green sea turtles and monk seals that come ashore to rest. Sea turtles also swimming right in front of the condo area. Great location to tour both the east, west, and north side of the island. Quiet condo location, easy to rest and relax. We spent a ton of time just sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, enjoying the views and each others company.

Poipu Condo In Kauai

Doug is a Superhost and very accommodating. The condo is equipped with everything you need, ocean view, clean and perfect for 2 couple's. The location was excellent for all the daily excursions.

Kauai Poipu Palms

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean, beautifully decorated and exactly as advertised. The only issue we had was "ant problem" in the kitchen (one also found in the main bedroom". Fortunately, the owners left a can of Raid under the sink and we were able to stay on top of them. We would definitely return.

We had a great time in Kauai. The condominium was EXACTLY as advertised. The photos on the website are even better in person. Property manager was very helpful with suggestions of where to eat, no matter where you were on the island. We hope to come back very soon!!

Great location on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Close to shopping and hiking. 2 disappointing issues regarding this property: an annoying downstairs neighbor and a mildew problem in the washing machine. However, I would stay there again.

Perfect View in Poipu

This property was stunning. Views from the porch were gorgeous and we saw turtles every day playing in the surf. Location was ideal for the island and we could get to everything very easily. Condo itself was super clean and very well stocked. Bedrooms were comfortable and couch turned into a makeshift bed easily for our youngest. Kitchen was excellent and they had beach toys, boogie boards, reef shoes etc for our use. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely space and experience

Wow! What a beautiful place— the location, the space, and the views were top notch. And the check-in/out experience was so easy! We also appreciated the conveniences of having basic necessities stocked for us upon arrival such as dish soap, hand soap, TP, paper towels, coffee, etc. These details made a difference when we arrived late after a long flight. The space is designed well and tastefully decorated. Views of the ocean are fantastic from inside and outside— we saw whales almost every morning. Overall, we highly recommend!

Incredible time at the Poipu Palms VRBO in Kauai

We loved the VRBO in Poipu! The owners were very responsive and helpful, including during our stay when I asked a couple of questions and reported we had checked out. The review were very helpful and spot on. The video and pics of the VRBO on the site, were accurate. As reported, sitting on the lanai was fantastic. Watching turtles navigate big waves and hearing the waves crash into the volcanic rock was wonderful. The winds were a dream and we seemed to be almost bug free outside. We would stay at this VRBO again after our first wonderful time there, and in Hawaii!

3rd Trip to the Island

We had a FANTASTIC stay. It was our first time staying on the south shore and it was perfect! A great location to so many things. The beaches, the hikes and the restaurants were outstanding. The condo was extremely clean, well stocked and the view was wonderful. We loved waking up to the sunrise through the bedroom window every morning! The constant sound of the waves was so peaceful and always a great breeze coming through the windows. Doug was very responsive to all of our questions and very quick to respond. The app for our phone was a great resource as well as all the info they provided for us. Thank you so much for providing such a great place for our family to enjoy our favorite place in the whole world. We would definitely return to stay here again! Mahalo!!

Beautiful

Poipu Palms 301 was just as expected from the vrbo listing. Very well stocked. Beautiful, light and airy feel. Loved watching whales, dolphins and turtles from our lanai and pool deck. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t super cooperative, it was very windy and lots of rain, for that reason we stayed at the condo much of the time and would have liked more comfy lanai furniture. The only other thing is for the days we did get to the beach a larger cooler would have been nice, but we did appreciate the beach chairs and umbrellas. Would stay again and refer others to Poipu Palms 301.

Incredible Locations and Views!

Spent the week here with my elderly parents while I attended a conference at the Grand Hyatt(walking distance). Hosts were friendly and communicative. This is a beautiful apartment with breathtaking views of ocean! You can watch both the sunrise and set from the deck. Pool overlooks the ocean and is well maintained. The apartment itself is also clean and well maintained. Very modern appliances and everything you need to spend the week, cooking, laundry, dining, watching movies, etc. Located in the heart of Poipu with access to a coastal running/hiking trail and short walk to Poipu beach which has nightly sea turtles and sometimes monk seals I couldn’t recommend this place more. It will be difficult to find any place that compares this in the future.

Stunning view, fantastic breeze!

The location of this condo was amazing for a few reasons. First, the view is unmatched. We loved watching the turtles swimming off the deck everyday, and the occasional pod of dolphins. I was hesitant to book a place without AC, as I had once prior in this general area, and we felt we needed it. But that was not a concern here at all, as you get a serious breeze through the unit. I loved having all the windows wide open. Overall, the unit met our needs for a family of 4. The owners were super responsive and a pleasure to rent from. I’d definitely rent this unit again!

Beautiful vacation in Poipu

Overall my wife and I had a fabulous stay in Kauai celebrating our 42nd anniversary. The unit was extremely clean with a good lay out.. We enjoyed spending time on the lanai watching the sunset and the ocean view from the pool deck was stunning. The walk / hike to Shipwreck Beach and the Hyatt was beautiful and a must do, however if you are carrying beach gear I would suggest you drive. We had an initial concern about no ac but after reading the reviews we were comfortable that it was a non issue. The tradewinds did keep the unit comfortable, however it is worth noting that when you have all of the windows open you hear outside noises especially since the unit backs to a street. The owners, Doug and Candy were very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay especially when on arrival we had a minor issue with the keyless entry code. One suggestion for the unit would be TV’s in the bedrooms. Overall a great unit in a great location for a fair price. Mahalo Mike & Cindy
