"I can not more highly recommend Shirouma So! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was very comfortable and perfectly situated near the bus terminal, Happo One, and restaurants. The onsen was the perfect way to finish a day on the slopes. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety - while breakfast is set, it is different every day. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved our stay at chalet Shiga. Skiing was fantastic. The people at the chalet treated us very well, lovely authentic japenese food and setting. The location is perfect, at the bottom of ichinose. We went at the start of spring season, which did mean some of the slopes were closed, and the buses were limited. Something to be aware of. But, there was still plenty of fluffy white stuff, lifts and slopes. We didn't need to go see the snow monkeys - they came to see us 😀"

"Hotel was nice, view was beautiful, if you get the side of sado island you can see it from your room. Closest hotel to sado kisen port but outside of that, there's really nothing close by unless you walk about 10 minutes."

"Very close to Matsumoto station, and a very reasonable walk to Matsumoto Castle, the art museum, and shopping and good restaurants. The hotel and rooms are pretty basic, but the room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for 3 (two adults and one child) due to the extra cot, but it made a good base for sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful "

"Staffs are friendly, but we can hear next room guests talking. Dined at their Japanese restaurant at B1, excellent service and good quality of food. 10 minutes walk to Niigata station, good place to shop around it’s CoCoLo shopping center inside train station. "
