Average hotel.

This hotel advertises they have spa facilities, they do not!! We turned up to find this out after booking this hotel for that reason. We were also u able to use the pool due to there never being a time when it was literally packed with children, think it would be nice to have times for children arnt allowed in for the sake of adults who would like some "quiet" time. Room was lovely and clean and meals were a very good standards for the amount of meals they need to produce each night. Staff all very friendly, and helpful especially on the front desk and in the dining room.

Location: Great position for the illuminations.... If you cannot walk far it is a good way to the town centre so you would need to catch a bus / tram / taxi.
Room was basic but nice and clean, facilities where brilliant, bar area nice and spacious. Food for evening meal and breakfast was excellent, catered for everyone (including children).... Staff where friendly and pleasant.

Good location

Posted Oct 28, 2016
Pros: The location and the food.
Cons: Fabric of interior is jaded and needs refurbishment
Location: Tram right at front door which meant connecting to sights and visitor attractions was easy.
Great difficulty checking in with staff and parent company not being particularly helpful in trying to resolve the problem. Noisy during the night with doors banging and had to report to reception who did send a security person to investigate.

Hotel, was very pleasant and provided all you would except. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment was good but lacked that top quality. Location was great and allowed you to have a refreshing walk into town. Food was good but not great

School holidays

Posted Aug 21, 2016 on Hotels
My husband and myself was disappointed on the evening the children were unruly and some were disruptive during the artist slot running around and nearly knocking the tables over with our drinks on them. If I went back to the Cliffs it would not be during the school holidays.
