This place should be reported to the local health department, bed bugs, dirty broken beds, broken locks on doors, no hot water. I'm wondering why Expedia is allowing this business to list with them

I paid for this room about 5 months before arrival. I get there to an almost desolate property. 5 cars there. I enter office and kid tells me that there is no refer, microwave, tv, etc. Says that they are refurbishing rooms and doing a new roof. Do I want to still stay there? I have nowhere else to go since that town is having a 900 car show in town and most likely others are full. He wouldn't give me a refund either. I explained my situation and my early payment for room so there would be no problems. I told him I was going to my car to call Expedia. He then came out and told me to come back in, that he has a complete and functional room for me. I did and yes, it was a fully operational room. I do not know what went on but there were no problems the two days I stayed there.

We never were able to check-in. Our booking was cancelled due to the motel having plumbing issues. Unfortunately, we were not notified and were left stranded without a place to stay. The staff didn’t help with any further accommodations nor directed us towards another solution.
