We just keep coming backPosted Oct 9, 2015
Pros: The Heathrow Hotel is ideally situated for access to terminals 1, 2 &3, and only ten minutes by Hoppa from Terminal 5.
Cons: Maybe the rooms could be updated, but that is very minor.
As usual, our reception was friendly, and the staff were all very helpful. Had a great night's sleep.

Airport accessPosted Oct 9, 2015
Pros: Airport access.
Location: Perfect for the airport but probably not the best option if visiting London due to the amount of time it takes to get in and out of London.
This hotel is located very close to Heathrow with free bus service to the airport terminals. This is very convenient for early morning flights. Check in was quick and the room was clean and comfortable. Good value.

Conveniently located near Heathrow airportPosted Oct 7, 2015
Convenient location for traveling through London Heathrow airport. Friendly staff and spacious room. Parking can be a problem, and the hallway and room was a bit dated. Overall a good stay and I would use it again. Didn't have an opportunity to use any of the other facilities.

There was difficulty printing air boarding passes because neither the lobby computer nor the printer was working. When asked if they had such printer and computer, we were directed to their location. When they didn't work, another staff member agreed and suggested having the boarding passes e-mailed to the reception desk. That worked, but it was not a convenient experience. Other than the hotel restaurant (which was adequate), the nearest restaurants were at least a 20 - 30 minute walk away. It was raining and would not have been a good choice under those circumstances. The hotel is directly across from Heathrow Airport, but getting to and from was a long shuttle ride.

Nice hotel close to HeathrowPosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: The lines at check-in and check-out were not long at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:00 a.m. Monday. There was nothing to dislike about the hotel.
Cons: As Americans, we did not know about placing the room card in the holder near the door to activate the lights and would have appreciated notice.
Location: The hotel is convenient to Heathrow Airport. Twickenham Stadium is six miles away. Area is filled with hotels and the restaurants that go with them.
We had some difficulty finding the hotel because Mapquest could not locate its address. Reception did not require a long wait and was efficient. No problems with booking and pre-paying through Expedia with confirmation number. Staff seemed interested in making sure that there were no problems. Plenty of room in car park on a Sunday night. Room was nice sized and bed was comfortable. Bath was clean, but without wash cloths. Not many outlets for devices, but brought a plug adapter and triple tap to allow three devices to be charged at once on desk. Room was quiet, on back of hotel. No airport noise. Meal in bar was fine. Hotel was close to fueling station and to rental car return. A fine hotel for the night before a return trip to the States.

Good valye for the money.Posted Oct 6, 2015
Plan at least 20 minute wait for HOPA H54 shuttle, which we only found out aftet much asking around, and another 30 mimutes or so for the trip, ad the bus can get crowded ad it stops at several hotels on the way. If you buy round trip, it costs £18 on the bus (pay to driver).

Great airport hotelPosted Oct 6, 2015
The Heathrow Hotel has everything I expect from a four star airport hotel. Principally somewhere to rest and relax before or after a flight. Service was excellent throughout, from check in to checkout. I must mention the dinner in Smith 's Grill which was very good.

I was only here one night for a layover but the staff helped me find something I could do in my short stay and marked the buses I should take and so on. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The room was very nicely made up with a comfy bed and soft cotton sheets. Everything I needed was provided. I would stay here again definitely.

It's what you'd expect for $95 (or maybe $75)Posted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: That I only had to stay there one night. Also, it had room service, and the pizza wasn't bad.
Cons: Staff manners and service.
Location: The whole point of this place is to give you a place to stay while waiting to leave the next day.
Nothing elegant or impressive, but nothing disastrous, either. The staff is so-so, and nobody answers the phone half the time, so you just put it down and let it ring while you pack or unpack. A good bit of that kind of minor annoyance, but there was no trash in the lobby or grafitti in the hallways. It's a clean place to stay, downscale but acceptable if you're going to leave immediately after waking up in the morning. Better if you already know what terminal you're going to in the morning, how to get there, and everything else you need to know, because getting good info out of the staff there is an iffy proposition.
