Coral Beach Resort and Suites

"The pleasant young lady at checkin made me feel very welcome and the checkin process was very efficient. She even gave me an upgrade on the room. My other interactions with the hotel staff were good, as they were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean at checkin and the facilities seemed to be well maintained. All the appliances and utilities were in good working order. The view from my oceanfront room was excellent. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and having a coffee or beer. Very relaxing. There were a variety of pools and amenities at this resort to make for an enjoyable stay. Overall, I was very pleased with my two nights spent at the resort and will definitely seek to visit again. Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel

"We had a great time at Surfside. The hotel was nice and clean and we will likely return. Be aware though that none of the rooms face the ocean, the hotel is not built parallel to the coastline. There are ocean views but you must go out on the deck and turn to the side. Also our elderly grandpa called down to the front desk asking someone to bring him more bottled water while we were out and they said it is not one of their services."

"Parking is across the street which isn’t too terrible you can drive up to unload your car under their covered area and then go park. Beautiful rooms although didn’t look like it was swept and had an odor in the washing machine and made the room smell. Other than that I enjoyed my stay"

Dayton House Resort, BW Signature Collection

"The Dayton House resort consists of five buildings established in 1956 with the last building being completed in 1980 it's been around. The rooms were clean, the pool areas were well kept and functional, and the grounds were manicured. The beds needed to be replaced but we made it work. Maid service consists of swapping out the towels, but who wants people in your room anyway. We stayed for three nights, used the stove which was part of the kitchenette and everything functioned in the room as it should. I think we were in building 4 on the sixth floor and had a balcony that looked out over the ocean. It was awesome. It's about a mile from the amusement park and the fair as well. That's considered Myrtle Beach Central, but getting an Uber in the morning, afternoon or evening was not difficult. Our stay was good and we'd probably stay there again"

"It says pet friendly, indeed it was they had dogs everywhere i meant everywhere and the reason I gave it a 4 star bc there was no house keeping, you had to get your clean lining from the front desk to make your own bed and whatever else you need 😉 I really didn't want to leave my room but I had no choice"
