“Muy bien, a una cuadra de la playa, muy comodo y limpio, los que atienden son muy amables, sin dudarlo me volveria a hospedar ahí, ya 2 veces que me quedo ahí, las otras veces no he encontrado cupo.”

“Para mi todo estuvo excelente había mirado muchas reseñas malas pero la verdad que estuvo todo muy bien, tanto como la atención del personal como las habitaciones para mi fue de mi agrado ya que vamos a estar en la playa no en los cuartos, las habitaciones me las entregaron limpias , la alberca estaba muy a gusto el agua calientita si los cuartos están algo pequeños pero para lo que son que es ir a dormir están bien, el aire acondicionado solo se prendía de 8 de la noche a 8 de la mañana pero……

The hotel is literally right on the sand, and our room had floor-to-ceiling windows plus a big private balcony overlooking the beach and sunset - absolutely beautiful. The design is new, modern, and very comfortable. Staff communication was excellent, and their custom town guide was super helpful. Loved the included beach club and patio, and the surf break is just steps away. Perfect for……

“It was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. Everyone was friendly. Only a few minutes walk to beach or downtown area. Perfect location. Only complaint was hot water for shower didn't last long. You get about 3 minutes before it starts to cool. I would stay again.”

I was looking to step out of my comfort zone for a more natural, local experience off the beaten path, and this place delivered. El Refugio is new and Marcelo is currently building it out, but the rooms themselves were spotless. As a designer myself, I have to say his style and vision are absolutely on point. A few things to note: the common areas are a bit more 'raw'……
