"Very clean and well-maintained property. The staff was extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay. Although there were some technical difficulties with Marriott’s new system, everything was resolved in a timely and professional manner. One thing to be aware of is that the property is valet-only. That being said, the valet staff was incredibly respectful, friendly, and hardworking; even when they were swamped with guests. The location is also excellent. It’s perfect for visiting the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and it’s only about a 30-minute drive to the Redwood Loop Trail, making it easy to enjoy both the coast and the redwoods. Overall, we had an amazing experience and really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this property, especially for anyone planning to explore Santa Cruz and the surrounding area."

"Room was great. I wish they would clean up the lobby. They use it as a storage space. Extra chairs, refrigerators, lamp shades, and the tv is never on. Can’t sit there and relax. Three days I went there in morning there was no coffee made or hot water for tea. Looks like counter space for snacks but it is cluttered. I love this little hotel but the lobby space has never been finished. 😞"
