Book Maine Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in 7 different B&B's on our vacation and although they were all very nice, this was the best. From the road it's hard to get a feel for the Inn. The intriguing hand carved wood screen door signals something different is ahead. Once inside the beautiful post and beam construction and lovely decor impress and confirm you made the right choice. The owners have a great story that will make you feel envious that your not a wild Maine blueberry farmer with acres of maple trees for syrup...

The room was big and comfortable, all amenities needed, breakfast was delicious!! Such a nice experience, like home but with hotel amenities! The only thing I would suggest is a full length mirror , there was none in the room and us ladies need that!

It was just a great place to stay. Very quaint, the Inn keepers were very friendly and helpful with what to do in the surrounding areas. Lots of outlet namebrand outlet stores and of course the new LL Bean Flagship store. Which was amazing. Would definitely stay again

We booked a stay at the James Place Inn based on reviews that we read on a few travel sites. I can't even begin to express how well-deserved each and every one of those reviews actually is! Robin and Tori are incredible hosts, pleasant, friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel right at home before we even got there! This was a wonderful first experience with a B & B. The hosts were amazing. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. The house fun and quirky. These guys know how to decorate for a holiday.... Halloween in our case.

Linda and Rick are terrific hosts. Their home is a spectacular c 1830s farmhouse set on a hill overlooking the lake. Enjoyed the stay.

The owners and staff are funny, very willing to please. Tge Inn is unique and very tastefully decorated. Highly recommend everyone to book a few days. Lots to do in the area. Many delicious restaurants too

Comfy bed breakfast was excellent easy location good parking

Great location, walking distance to everything. Allows us a zero stress gateway with off street parking, three room suites, common areas for socializing and private area with the fireplace. We bring extra duraflame logs.

We LOVED this inn. It's a perfect location--right on the Bay, free parking, and a very close walk to restaurants and shopping. The house is beautiful--the rooms are comfortable, quiet, clean, etc. Breakfast was wonderful--sitting on the deck and having them bring a fresh made meal to you. We will definitely come back again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Kendall Inn. The staff were very welcoming and their cooking was excellent. They even accommodated my gluten allergy at meals. Would highly recommend staying here!

The house is slated to become a national historic property in August. Beautiful old Victorian home furnished elegantly with a wonderful wraparound porch. Wendy's breakfasts were yummy!

The hosts were welcoming and very helpful with suggestions for dining, shopping and hiking. We very much enjoyed our stay.
