New rental inside Lakeside--Central AC--Linens and Golf Cart included!

A new rental cottage available in 2024! We are accepting bookings April 1 - August 31, 2024.

Our cottage has CENTRAL A/C and heat for total comfort of guests. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has two twin bunk beds (sleeping 4). Additional sleeping space is on the four-season porch with a full-sized pull out futon. Cottage feel complemented by updated granite countertops in the kitchen, marble vanity in the bathroom, and exceptionally cleaned/maintained. FANTASTIC LOCATION for families across the street from Cherry Park. Two blocks away from Lake Erie, pool, tennis and pickleball courts. Extra yard space due to this corner lot.

Cottage Features include:
• GOLF CART: at no additional cost ($390 value per week), an electric four person golf cart is included for use during your stay. All drivers MUST have a valid driver's license to operate the golf cart. The golf cart is only for use inside the gates/fences of Lakeside. Each night the golf cart needs to be plugged into the charger located within the shed as it is battery operated. Must sign rental contract terms.
• LINENS: are provided (a rare find within Lakeside!). As a convenience, all beds are premade with sheets prior to your arrival. All sheets and towels are cleaned upon departure by the cleaners. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own pool/beach towels.
• WIFI available throughout the cottage. Desk available for remote working. SmartTV available including Disney+ and DirecTV Stream for live cable television.
• PARKING: There are two parking spaces on the property in front of the shed. The golf cart is parked inside the shed. Ample parking across the street at cherry park.
• Kitchen disposal, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, and stove/oven.
• Renters need to bring everything consumable. Examples include toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc.

You'll never want to leave the Lakeside grounds as there is so much to do (gate passes not included but required from Memorial Day to Labor Day). However, outside the gates there is a lot to do in the surrounding communities: Cedar Point, wineries, animal safari, waterparks, island hopping, golfing and many outstanding restaurants.

Upon departure:
• Guests must clean and put away all kitchenware.
• Please strip all used towels and bed sheets.
• Plug in golf cart for next renter's use!

There is a $200 cleaning fee added to every reservation, plus $75 for taxes.

NO PETS. Added charm with the fireplace; however, it is not available for use per rental contract. NO SMOKING in the cottage. No smoking inside the gates of Lakeside.

Cancellation policy: 100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. You must contact the owner directly to talk about cancellation. If I can re-rent the cottage, I will return your money minus VRBO.com fees as we don't have control of those fees.

The cottage is located in a gated community called Lakeside. The gate fees are additional fees outside the cottage rental contract. The gated season is Memorial Day to Labor Day. Please visit the Lakeside website www.lakesideohio.com for full list of activities included in gate fees.

The Lakeside Chatauqua is an amazing community. There is daily programming so be sure to check out the Lakeside Ohio website. The community includes: Lake Erie pier, downtown shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, movie theatre, parks, splash pad, pool, wellness center, playgrounds, basketball, sand volleyball, walking trails, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, mini golf, art classes, worship, exhibits, and classes. Don't forget to walk along Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile, along the shores of Lake Erie.
