"Very quiet. For the money excellent view of lake. Easy access to museums. Don’t buy tickets from bellman. Look up bus routes and directions in advance.. no hot food service or microwaves. Despite these minor flaws I wystay there again."

"This is a low-frills place to stay. About 1/4 of the cost of traditional hotels in central Chicago. Very limited food on site, but many sources nearby. Shared bathrooms are the rule in hostels. I paid 1/5 of the cost at the event hotel attached to my meeting at McCormick place. Considerable night sleeping in the shadows on adjacent streets."

"A staff member was kind enough to let us know about a parking lot near by that saved us money. We ate dinner at Toro. Steaks cooked to perfection! Food and atmosphere was fantastic!"
