The place was beautiful. I have a large family (7 adults - 5 kids) and the place fit us comfortably. The main room/kitchen was nice and large enough for us all to hang out. All amenities were there as promised. The place was very clean and neat. The wrap-around porch was great for kids playing while we had our morning coffee. The home is on top of the hill, so you can see for miles...a great view. The kids really loved the longhorns...the cattle wandered around the property and were tame enough to come up to the house, which excited the kids. We also saw five deer while we were there. The ranch is isolated enough to be peaceful and quiet, yet just a few minutes drive from town. Loved it. I just wish we would have had more time to take it all in! We attended my son's graduation from Texas State, so it was a busy weekend. Location was the best thing of all; it was so close to everything, but you felt like you were in the country. We would definitely love to stay here again!
