“Cannot beat this hotel in terms of location in Menaggio. It’s directly on the lake so has beautiful views from the lakeside rooms. It’s 3 minutes walk from the ferry and one minute from the main piazza in town (small but charming). It’s a great basic hotel option, nothing fancy but clean and the pool was a nice addition especially during the very hot summer days. It has the potential to be even better given the location but lacks a few big important things such as air conditioning in the hot……
“The property is located by the water and near the Water Limousine taxi-which is amazing!!! Matthias is very knowledgeable about the area and took us all around the Golden Triangle by boat. The best way to experience the lake. Hotel Dulac did have working a/c and was clean. Not a 4 star but for the area, acceptable. Outside my window was the town “square” and I took a video at 10:42 pm of the crowd and piano playing. If you want total peace and quiet this is not the place for you.”
“Pleasant staff and the hotel and rooms felt quite traditional and nice. Great and large balcony for our ground floor room with incredible views. Nice little pool and great buffet breakfast. If you are coming from the ferry, access is 20 mins walk via steep cobbled streets which was challenging and we (I) had to carry our suitcases as the wheels were in danger of coming off! Decent parking by the look of it but consider a cab if you’re on foot. Over all a very pleasant stay.”
“Auberge de jeunesse très sympathique accueil vraiment très bien. Nous avions une chambre avec un grand lit double et des lits jumeaux pour les enfants, salle de bain et WC à l'intérieur. Vous pouvez utiliser les frigos et les congélateurs ainsi que la cuisine et la vaisselle si vous souhaitez vous faire à manger. Nous avions été commandé des pizzas à côté et nous avons mangé dans le jardin vraiment très agréable et tout ça proche du lac de Côme. À noter l'auberge possède un parking gratuit”
