"Cannot fault anything about the house and garden! Our two week stay was pure heaven. Nothing to listen to otherthan the birds plus the stunning views from the garden were wonderful. "A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! "The house is a beautiful traditional building. It is light and airy with huge windows. We really liked the big walk-in showers in all the en suite bathrooms. "Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
