5/5 Excellent

Such a fun house...felt like we were in a treehouse and far from anything! Loved the main living area with no tv! Played games, read books, cozied up with the warmth of a wood stove and enjoyed the hot tub! So close to the mountain so skiing was a breeze! Would happily stay here again!!

4/5 Good

perfect ski chalet
we loved our time at birch hollow. it was the quintessential ski chalet. perched on a cliff with amazing windows and a modern flair. the hot tub was our favorite, and the kids quarters were epic. the wood fire place was great (we brought our own wood which was necessary). our only real issue was that there was zero to little water. there was no water pressure and it would actually run out. we tried contacting the property manager and never heard back which was frustrating. all in all we loved it, and thank you for being dog friendly.

5/5 Excellent

Fun getaway!
My husband and I stayed for a month with our toddler and loved it. We had to make it more toddler friendly when we got there (eg rearranging furniture and putting up temporary window shades), but Alex and Ashley from Vacasa were super helpful and responsive, and we got settled quickly. It’s a really cool place - we miss the big living room windows looking out over the brook and woods. And such a great location!

Birch Hollow
Wonderful retreat in the Mad River Valley. Will be returning!

5/5 Excellent

Great quiet spot
Lovely, spacious, quiet cabin with woods to explore in a beautiful part of Vermont. We enjoyed relaxing, a little fishing, and driving around this Fall. There are farm stands, local meat, local beers (including Alchemist) at stores nearby. One thing I missed in the listing is that there is actually a hot tub with fairy lights above it to - very fun!
