"We went to Abbotsford to attend an AHL hockey game. Hotel is close to Roger’s Forum and easy to get to. "

"The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and accommodating. I would suggest that they maybe take the time to educate people when they check in on things like pool time and towels, and wifi info. The hotel is definitely showing it’s age. While the room worked for our needs and the frequently used things (like linens) were clean, the whole room needs a good cleaning. There was grime build up in some spots in the bathroom, and dust build up in many places. Lots of small water damage spots all over the bathroom and around the windows. The room we had came with a small kitchen, and there was 4 of each cup, but only 3 plates and bowls. We were also on the side that faced the freeway, and there was a lot of traffic noise. The rooms seemed soundproofed from each other though. The pool area really needed some care. "

"Room was adequate. Size and amenities for room wasn't an issue. Hiwever, the room smelled stale. It looked clean but smelled as if no one had freshened it up or wiped anything down in awhile. Very unpleasant smell. I wouldn't recommend."

"Carpenter ants in my first room. Flies in the next room. This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Halls, carpet, paint is all beat up and dated. Stairs were dangerous. Oddly, the bathroom was in nice shape and the bed was comfortable, after I pulled it apart looking for bed bugs. I could have stayed at the SandMan down the road for and extra $20 a night. Bruised apples for fruit at the continental breakfast. South asian ownership on full display. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"Having two building, and not making it clear that the pool is in one and breakfast is in another was really not something that made us happy. That being said, the blond lady that tended to the breakfast station both morning might have been one of the friendliest and helpful hotel employees we’ve had in as long as we could remember. My wife and daughter went separately from myself for breakfast both days, and on our drive home, we both brought up how excellent she was. Would really mean a lot if whomever reads this shares how pleasant she was to interact with in the morning"
