Vi hadde en romslig, velholdt leilighet (101) som vi likte godt. Den hadde stor terrasse og flott utsikt. 200 m til det store kjøpesenteret med barer og restauranter, 1,5 km til bystranda og 3,2 km til Amadores strand (langs spektakulær "kyststi"). Bra med skap og hylleplass. Siden det ikke finnes AC, må man ha vinduet åpent om natta, og da sjeneres man i betydelig grad av støy fra barene like nedenfor fram til kl 04.00\. Wi-fi finnes ikke i leilighetene og fungerte dårlig og langsomt i bassengområdet. Bra med solsenger (stofftrukne, uten madrasser), men ganske lite basseng. Apartamentos no muy modernos pero muy cuidados y limpios, a un paso del centro comercial y de ocio de Puerto Rico (5 minutos por unas escaleras) y a unos 15 minutos de la playa. Instalaciones perfectas para el precio, 10 dias 9 noches 240€, una pequeña piscina y un pequeño bar y supermarket con lo esencial y con precios como es normal un poco mas altos que los Spar o HyperDinos cercanos. El bar cierra temprano en comparacion con los de otros apartamentos, lo que conlleva que la tranquilidad sea absoluta por las noches. El aislamiento de los apartamentos es bastante bueno, se oye ligeramente el bullicio del centro comercial de Puerto Rico pero nada escandaloso ni que impida dormir con tranquilidad. We enjoyed our stay at Tamanaco very much. No steps here, lift up to reception then lift up to your room (there are enough steps in Puerto Rico thank you!) We had room 305, great view, large balcony,comfy beds, fab shower with a handle inside for those of us less steady on our feet! Good sized fridge freezer. Our toaster kept tripping the circuit breaker but was replaced almost immediately on taking it to reception. The place was spotless, I liked the small book exchange at Reception the free Wi-Fi was a bonus but signal only strong enough on balcony or in public areas (well it is free after all!) Jorge on reception was very helpful and assisted me with printing our boarding passes. Staff were all very hard-working and helpful. The washing -up liquid, scrubbie, cloth and tea towel were extremely well received as was the shower gel/shampoo sachets and soap. Tamanaco, whilst not appearing as slick and shiny as some other establishments, took great care of itself and was comfortable and homely. We felt very welcome and safe and did not want to leave. We will be back possibly with my elderly mother (re no steps and handle inside shower as previously stated). First time visitors to Puerto Rico should note the Tamanaco is up high and consequently the noise from the centre drifts up and doesn't stop until gone 4.a.m. we knew this and were prepared with earplugs, also Tamanaco does not have air-con so bear that in mind if it should bother you (it didn't bother us). Syntes vi fik langt mere end vi kunne forventet med den pris det kostet at bo på hotellet. Der var rengøring af lejligheden 6-7 gange i de ti dage vi var der. Personalet var venlige, hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Lejligheden var stor og med det man har brug for. Der var rent og pænt over alt. Pool området var super fint, men der kunne godt have være lidt flere parasoller. Hotellette ligger rigtig godt, 5 minutters gang fra byen med masser af restauranter og butikker - og små 20 minutters gang fra stranden. Utrolig flot udsigt fra værelserne. El desayuno solo era un pequeño zumo , café y tostadas, no tenían nada más. El recepcionista muy antipático no nos creyó cuando fuimos a contarle estas cosas. We took the chance as the rate was low and what a good decision. I really can't go into detail otherwise I'd be writing a novel here, but everything that can be good was good. From the views in the room, to the staff.
