"We had an excellent stay, and this location can’t be beat. My wife and I grew up in RI and like to bring the kids back each summer. As former locals, we hesitated a bit to stay in busy Newport during peak tourist season. Long Wharf was the perfect location for us in that regard — adjacent to but not in the middle of the busiest spots. "This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B."
