Lodges in Newton

The room was well appointed and very clean when my wife and I arrived. Lucy, who worked in the breakfast room was so friendly and helpful. I booked this hotel twice on our trip to Wisconsin; one night on the way up and one night on the way back. The person working the front desk was courteous and helpful both stays also.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, great pool and hot tub. Highly recommended staying here!

We have been staying for three weeks for a job in the area. After a long days work, it's nice to have no issues when you go back to the motel. Everything is just as it should be.

A 3.1 of 5?? Really?? Good grief people, what do you expect for less than $75 out the door?? No, it's not brand new. No, they don't deliver your luggage to your room for you, or park your car for you, but come on, it's a motel and it says "budget" over the door, what do you want. My room didn't smell, it was clean, it had hard surface flooring(big plus for me), the TV worked, the internet worked, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and clean, and it didn't look like there had been a...

The place was wonderfully decorated with many traditional elements. It's a short walking distance from the center of town. The owner was very helpful and gave us some nice tips on what to go see.

Clean room, great breakfast.

I wanted to find a place to get away for a day and relax. The hotel was great. There wasn't alot of people there so i had the pool all to myself. rooms are very modern and beds are super comfortable. I stayed in a king size suite and would definitely stay there again. The free breakfast in the morning was also a great added bonus.

We always stay at the Country Inn and Suites when we visit Grinnell. The rooms are clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location. My only complaint is that it is noisy. The ac/heating unit can be incredibly loud and grating in some rooms. Rooms themselves are not very sound proof so if you have loud neighbors you are out of luck. Overall, we have found this hotel to be very comfortable and a good value.

very clean and close to Adventureland..

We love this hotel! We've stayed 2-3 times in the last couple of years. This last time was the best, starting with Michelle, who checked us into the hotel. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and just great in representing the hotel. Our room was fantastic, beds were so comfortable even after a full day at Adventureland. The shower had multiple adjustments, and it had these awesome shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps on the wall of the shower - they smelled wonderful! The pool/whirlpool...

Clean, cozy comfort at an extremely reasonable rate. Owner\managers where wonderfully helpful in helping us choose things to do and see while in Pella for a 'girls get away', gave us helpful directions and an idea of what to expect, recommended restaurants, winery, bakery & shops in the area! Our arrival was greeted with warm, melt in your mouth cookies- served in the lobby every afternoon during our four day stay! Although we didnt need the pool, a number of other guests enjoyed. Location of...
