“We had a great time! It was family, friendly, and we saw a ton of key deer. Pool was perfect as well!”

“Location and place were great. We even did paddleboarding from the boat launch area by the place. Reason for low rating is that the firealarm went off at 5am due to low battery. There is no immediate help at site after hours other than texting a number. We ended up not sleeping fully for a single night stay. Help didn’t come until 9 am to remove the arm from the ceiling. It was very annoying loud noise, didn’t have a fully resting night😞😔😔”

“The room was dirty , the initial front desk secretary had no idea what she was doing , said she was new and overcharged me. Told me to fix it in the morning when someone was at work that knew the correct prices. The “bartender” was on a personal call on speakerphone instead of serving guests. When you walked up to the bar she said “we’re out of everything except soda “ before you said anything to her. The manager on site was helpful the next morning when I got the charges sorted but the damage……

“My husband and I stayed for 5 nights (in Room 7) in late June. We really loved the resort and Marathon. It is as pictured, charming and well kept. Very old Florida. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves. We didn't use the marina but it was fun to watch other guests and their boats. The room (#7) itself had a great ocean view, small patio, good bed, big closet and location (right by the pool). A/C excellent!
