You can spend the day at the beach, head into town, or simply relax by the heated pool and hot tub and watch the ships sail by. The harbor has water-sport rentals if you want to have some excitement on your vacation! At night you can enjoy the cool air on the balcony of this remodeled and upgraded unit and soak in the twinkling lights from the many boats below. With the short distances to every attraction Southern California has to offer, you'll be coming back to this condominium year after year. HOUSE RULES \-Max occupancy at all times: 10 \-Quiet Hours: 9pm - 9am \-NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, EVENTS, AND NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPY THE HOME - Strictly enforced. \-No pets allowed at any time, as the owner has severe allergies. \-There shall be no video, still photography, or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. PLEASE NOTE! \-Fireplace is not usable \-There are no pets allowed at this home, as the owner has severe allergies. \-This home has central heat. There is also air conditioning in the living room only. \-Coin-operated laundry facilities in the building, no laundry inside the unit. \-This home is NOT baby and/or child-proof. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental. \- Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. \- There is exterior surveillance camera recording 24/7\. The camera is located outside the front door. \- SMOKING: This home and all Vacation Rentals by Kimberly properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the premises. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if evidence of smoking is found. CANCELLATION POLICY • A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. • Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). • Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment Parties and Overoccupancy Policy: If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. The penthouse at marina del mar was an absolute dream. I have been visiting this area for 30 years and have stayed in multiple units over the years. This unit, by far, was the largest and offered the most amenities. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need and more for a week long stay with 5 adults and a baby. We were all able to have our own privacy but also enjoy family time. The location is amazing with the harbor and beach within steps. Condo very clean and well equipped. Close to beach, shopping, and dining. While the home is good for a family with kids we found the sleeping arrangements challenging for 6 adults with the bunk beds. Master bed was too high for my in-laws to get in and out of. 2 people ended up sleeping on couches. The beds not the most comfortable. The kitchen and family spaces are wonderful. The carpet in the bedroom is due to be replaced, but the cleanliness of the home is superb. We had a heat issue and froze the first night of our stay. The heating unit does not work and the property management company did not tell us about space heaters or using the mini split heat for a full 24 hours after we were there. The unit was a whopping 55 degrees inside. Really put a damper on our first day in the area. Once they let us know of alternate heat options, we were in a much better position. They really should have refunded a portion of our stay but nothing was even offered or even mentioned. The property was very spacious and, if allowed, could comfortably sleep 12 people. Our kids loved having their own room and sharing the two bunk bed sets (4 beds). The large kitchen and dining table allowed us to spread out for family dinners. We were on the top floor and had 180-degree views of both the ocean and the marina. Property owners and staff were quick to respond to communications and check in/out were a breeze. My husband and I stayed her with my son and several friends for a long weekend. The location was great and we loved the view into the harbor from the balcony.
