“Overall enjoyed our stay. Better than a hotel room with nice views, atmosphere for a night but the lack of adequate hot water for a decent shower was disappointing. It also appeared there was a fire pit in the pics but there was not. Vermillion is a very lovely town with shops and restaurants very close to the tiny home. Also, beware there is a nearby train that runs through the night. Didn’t bother us too much but could be problematic for a light sleeper.”

“I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure what I’d be getting myself into because I’ve never done anything like this before but, it was my birthday and I wanted something different. This exceeded my expectations and it’s hands down one of the coolest things that I’ve ever done. The property and bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. “Amazing! I had a wonderful time. A friend joined me for a day, but when I say, "do it alone". Do it alone. I felt very safe. Everyone in town and the adjoining towns were so pleasant. Crows nest was my #1 for food. Village creamery was dessert. Be sure to stop at the great lakes popcorn factory with 30 flavors. The marblehead lighthouse and the confederate cemetery were nice to visit. I 100% recommend Joshua and his house boats!”

“It was a different experience for us, pretty neat. I loved that there was an upper deck to watch the sunset. I did not like not being able to use the bathroom on the boat- this was explained in the summary of the property and I was understanding and ok with it, but it smelled so bad in there we would not open the door. Also, we had to move curtains to cover the front window for privacy from anyone on the walk passing the boat. Overall the stay was nice and the owners were friendly. ”
