“Great quiet location. Close to Anna Marie Island. Pool is awesome. All grounds immaculate. Staff friendly and helpful. Walking paths close by. Large breakfast buffet with variety of hot and cold options. We had a Marina view room so relaxing to sit on balcony and watch the boats cone and go. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Very well run hotel -- but I fell the marketing is a bit bait and switch. I was surprised to see that my room overlooked a parking lot with a pool in it. What happened to the affinity pool and pickleball courts? You actually have to walk across a 4 lane (not too busy) street to get their. Most people take a golf cart - but I didn't have time. Hate this kind of marketing.”

“Lovely resort! Nice pools and lots of activities- pickleball, volleyball, kayaks and SUPs. Sky Bar is cute and lively. Luma has fabulous food - a bit pricey but worth it. Beach is on the bay so no beach walking. Great location - close to St Pete Beach and downtown St. Petersburg.We’d love to come back!! ”

“Parking was an issue and we had to park over at the Exchange, which was about 1/2-3/4 miles away..”

“If I could rate this in negative stars I would. It smelled like an animal died in our room (like an actual decaying animal) and was never cleaned out. Staff was not present or available to complain to. Had to leave the room 4 hours before checkout. Woke up to asthma and a rash. Refused to refund after complaining. ”

“This hotel is great! friendly and helpful staff, clean and large room (the quality is particularly amazing given the low price), and it is walkable to the Ringling mueseum. The only thing I am not that satisfied is the strong smell of disinfectant in the room. Will definitely consider this place once I visit Sarasota again.”

“I reported the AC issue on the first day. I was told it was functioning normally, but the constant noise made it difficult to rest. We stayed three nights before being moved, and I feel that significantly affected our stay Furthermore, they knew perfectly well that the air conditioning in that room wasn't working properly, yet they still allowed the guest to stay there.”

“First time stay at The Hollander and would definitely return. Our king suite room was huge, although I could do without crazy gold/yellow doors. The rooms are dated and furniture was worn but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of high quality towels. The best part was having a quiet room with no noticeable noise from other guests. The amenities make up for the less than fabulous room decor. The pool area was FANTASTIC. Lots of lounge chairs and tables with extra large……
