"I found the whole hotel very clean and well maintained. I know it’s an older structure, but they take good care. Pool area really pretty, cabana area comfortable with a water purification system for our water bottles and even BBQ’s and laundry for guest use. I highly recommend! "

"Details: Second time staying here, and it remains the best bang for the buck in the whole area. I love the motel-style layout—you can park right near your room, haul your bags up one short flight of stairs, and you're in. Our room was spacious with an amazing kitchenette. Nice touch: there's a heat lamp on a timer in the bathroom. Even though our room was right on the highway (and sounds usually bother me), I couldn't hear traffic at night. The beds were comfortable, and while I'm not a breakfast buffet person, my family loved it. Let me be clear: this is not a fancy place. There are other hotels in the area that are spotless, quieter, and more of a destination—but they'll cost you significantly more. This is a jumping-off point, a great stop on the way to the Bay Area with very easy highway access. The staff is professional and courteous. You'll see all kinds of travelers here—lots of families taking advantage of the good rates and extra space. If you need everything to feel pristine, this isn't the place for you. It has old charm, and while I don't like hotels to feel dirty, this place does have some scuff marks here and there. But the price makes it worth it. Save yourself some money and stay here—just don't expect a fancy resort. It has some wear to it, but it's clean and quiet and totally worth the value."

"Everything was wonderful at The Inn at the Tides, front desk, spacious room, clean and the best views! The breakfast waiter at the Tides was not hospitable. He forgets to bring us the water, coffee and Orange Juice that came with the breakfast. He forgot to bring one of our traveler the non-dairy milk to go with the granola. He was just not conscientious and a bit of a chip on his shoulders : (. "

"Positive: room was clean. Negatives: pool not heated nor likely to be soon. Heater/AC on wall cheap, made huge noise, 50 db according to my phone. Turned on every 5 minutes. At least it drowned out noisy refrigerator. Lots of sketchy people hanging out in parking lot all day, drinking beer, smoking weed, playing loud rap music. Seems like some of them live there full time. Mattresses cheap quality, like sleeping on a bag of rocks. Usually Best Western facilities are fairly good, but not this third rate motel. I wouldn’t stay there again in 1000 years. "
