The promotional photos are misleading!

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Up to date information to be made available about tour options and facilities in the local area. The hotel does not have a restaurant.
Location: The hotel is a short local bus trip away from Condada Beach, where the main action is.
The promotional photos imply the hotel is on a palm tree lined beach, but it's not. You have to cross a road and the actual beach is very narrow and any palm trees are way off in the distance. The room was what you would expect from a hotel near the beach. Tiled floors so no need to worry about sand feet. The hotel did not seem to know much about tours or tour operators which was disappointing. Hot water was a problem in the bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly.

Best bed and breakfast for the great price in PR

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The intimitacy of it. The price. The decorum. Everything.
Cons: Everything was great. Breakfast was not to my taste but that's just me. Everyone else liked it alot. The coffee was strong, so that was very good.
Location: Beach across the street. Many local resturants and bars near by. High quality food and a lot of local joints to really experience the culture.
Fantastic. We were very pleased with the hotel quality. Very personable and meticulously decorated B&B. Perfect for someone who does not want a chain hotel experience. Independently ran and owner is there most of the time and very nice and accomodating. The nieghborhood is a little out of San Juan (Ocean View) and middle class, so not the glitzy downtown but a real true PR experience and very safe. The ocean across the street is beautiful. Top notch. Very happy with our stay here.

The hotel was outdated.

Posted Aug 14, 2015
The hotel needs a facelift inside and out. Whatever you do don't drive down El Loiza ave go to the left down isla verde blvd. if you go left you will encounter the worst scenes of undeveloped housing and during the evening do no stop at a red light in that part of town. Very dangerous n many prostitutes.

Quaint, low-stress, nice bed and breakfast

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Very nice and extremely helpful staff. The free continental breakfast is modest but plenty. Free parking on the street. Room has large fridge, stove and wash sink---useful for extended stay. Beach has plenty of coral reefs close to shore. Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the home away from home experience.

Quiet, away from the crowds

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Nice and quite neighborhood.
Cons: The food choices for breakfast could have been improved.
Location: Walking distance from several food joints and a supermarket. Across the street from the beach.
If you like low key type of vacation, this is the place to stay. Beach right across the street although a little rocky but pleasant enough and walking distance from a smoother beach westward. In walking distance from restaurants and a bus that goes to Old San Juan for 75cents. Disappointed that they do not offer bikes to rent anymore but liked the other things they offer first come first served like the chairs and sand castle toys. Stayed in room 4 with the nautical theme which was quite charming, clean, and next to the pool which I loved. Also in walking distance to a grocery store to pick up anything that you may need for your trip. Will recommend this place. Happy travels!

Very disappointed

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Definitely not what we expected. If I hadn't already paid for four nights w would've left. Cramped quartets, lumpy bed, very noisy at night. Breakfast was minimal. Staff was very nice and helpful and one of the reasons why stayed.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: The location
Cons: Parking
Location: Close to the city and a well-known park
This hotel was nice, we were able to go to the beach simply by walking out front. Breakfast was provided as promised and the room was in fair condition. However, parking was a challenge, overall our experience was good.
