Tre Palmas Inn is a wonderful place to have a San Juan vacation . It is a small quiet NON COMMERCIAL place with a private beach right on the ocean and very close to old San juan . Will only book there ever !!!!

Beautiful view and closeness to the beach

Everything about this hotel was great, the only downside was that the room we got was a bit small.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your feedback and high marks. Our rooms do run on the small side. Our inn was one of the first built in the area and that is reflected in the architecture. If we ever have the pleasure of hosting you again we can show you some larger rooms for your stay.

Hi Anonymous, I'm sorry to hear that you didn't find us suitable for a longer stay. I don't know what room you stayed in but we would have been happy to show you some of our other rooms.

Lovely Place

Posted May 8, 2017
Pros: The atmosphere.
Cons: Place curtains.
Location: Right on the beach. 10 Min walk to some restaurants, a grocery store. Need cab to go to old san juan.
It was beatuiful, cozy, and very quaint. Little sitting places spread throughout the grounds, hammocks, a pool, and a jacuzzi on the rooftop. Thet rooftop overlooks the beach. Included breakfast was simple but good (eggs, toast, cereal, coffee, etc). The hotel staff was all EXTREMELY nice. You could borrow beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels for free. You could rent a kayak if you wanted to do that. Wifi worked great.

Hi Lilia, Thank you for your sweet review!! We do have shades and black out out curtains in all of our rooms. I wonder if you meant curtains for the new doors. Hope we see you again!

Across from the beach, jacuzzi, pool, breakfast

Posted Apr 21, 2017
Pros: Everything; I'd stay here again in a heartbeat
Pros: Across the street from a beach, five minutes from a bigger beach with waves. Beautiful property with places to sit and enjoy the sounds of the ocean, including hammocks. Umbrellas and chairs available to borrow for the beach. Best staff we experienced during a week's stay in PR; perfect English, incredibly knowledgeable, went above and beyond at every chance. Breakfast was excellent, even for someone who needs to be gluten free. Wifi was excellent. Room was clean was a great vibe and feel. Jacuzzi on the roof was a great place to watch the waves during the day and listen to them while stargazing on a clear night. Completely safe to enjoy the beach, even at night, though I wouldn't suggest women do so alone. Parking is free. Cons: Residential area. Restaurants were a 10+ minute walk. No close grocery store. Parking is street parking so it's a lottery. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes in the hammock, even with bug spray on.

Hello Anonymous, Thank you for your feedback. All of our rooms have a primary curtain that helps filter in the sunlight and then a secondary black out curtain for complete privacy. We do allow smoking in our open public areas that are not during breakfast hours but have a strict policy about smoking in the rooms.
