Pros: Gostei da localização, conforto e atendimento.
Cons: A água do chuveiro custa a esquentar.

Good location large roomPosted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
Needs a little tender loving care. Breakfast a little strange, however better than nothing perhaps should advertise that breakfast is only one egg and a cup of coffee or black tea!!! Cleaned up quickly did not have the heart to ask for an extra piece of bread!!! Don't know if this is normal for Quito??? Bathroom and toilet set up very strange, however room quite large, but we did pay for it being large. Internet included in price but only worked intermittingly

Mejor deayuno con mínimo costoPosted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels

Great location, huge rooms but quirkyPosted May 10, 2015
Pros: Location, English speaking staff, beautifully furnished, huge living area
Cons: Separate upstairs toilet was initially quaint but could become annoying for an extended stay. Internet was patchy.
Location: Plaza Foch is THE restaurant spot in the new town.
Central position close to Plaza Foch but still very quiet. Great security with locked gate and solid security shutters on windows. Also makes it wonderfully dark at night. Our room had a sunny private balcony (handy for drying clothes). Lovely, friendly staff, who closed the shutters and turned lamps on before we returned late afternoon. Rooms are clean and huge but quite unusual. Ours had an upstairs toilet in the room and a living area on another level. Apparently every room is different.

Friendly staff, clean large roomPosted Apr 20, 2015
I sincerely enjoyed my stay and will be staying again. The staff was friendly and attentive. I arrived late, wanting a beer for nightcap, The host direct me to the nearest pub. The next night there was beer in my room refrigerator :-) I found everybody to be a gracious and helpful. The hotel itself is charming, clean with Old world charms

Pros: Veronica made my stay and transfers easy. THANK YOU. she 's very helpful and pleasant. Victor also vary kind .
Location: in a busy area , I only went to a bank and phone sales booth . very close by.Did not plan on staying in Quito at this time.
After arriving at 0130 am , the taxi sent picked me up as requested .This is a very busy airport at nite the planes (3) all come in at about the same time . It's about 40 mins to the hotel . On a quite street very nice , the houseman Victor was waiting for me . I checked in and went to bed. as mention in another review do not get room 5 or 6 as they are above the cafe and kitchen. The morning breakfast as very nice ,fresh juice , toast ,eggs and jam with coffee and milk. I was greeted by Veronica , shes the day shift manager (English speaking) she helped with my transfer to the cloud forest lodge . I walked around the hotel ,it's very pretty . The rooms on the front lower floor # 9 & 10 are exceptional , very large, quite and private for only (10.00 US$ ) more.

Wonderful experiancePosted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Rooms were spacious and had character
Location: The facility is located in a busy area with plenty of restaurants nearby.
The facilities are great and the rooms are spacious. This is a renovated old mansion and the reno was done with taste and attention to function. In this era of plastic and steel boxes, this was an enchanting surprise. The staff were professional and helpful contributing substantially to our visit. There was a bit of road noise but it was acceptable in view of the other attributes.

Charming and homeyPosted Mar 8, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed here for a total of 7 nights. The Antinea used to be a private residence, and was converted to a hotel at some point. It has lots of fun gardens and rooms to explore, and is definitely not a boring, sterile hotel. Located very close to the most "happening" plaza (Foch), guests can walk to many bars or restaurants and be part of the Quito scene. Friday nights are so crazy and too noisy for older travelers. The Antinea is showing its age. Bedspreads, towels, wallpaper, etc. can all use some updating. And seriously, you have to let the water in the sink or shower run for a full 10 minutes before it gets hot. But we enjoyed the hotel and its staff, who were quite helpful around the hotel. Rates are reasonable, and they offer a continental breakfast, with fresh made juice and decent coffee each morning.
