Beautiful setting. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Andy on the staff was exceptionally helpful in recommending a place for dinner. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Adorable big old house

We felt welcomed from the start, the staff is friendly and the grounds are spacious. It's also used as an event space, so you may meet newlyweds at breakfast. A bit of a drive outside of town, but worth it for the relaxed atmosphere & adorable old house

Beautiful place to stay. Super clean, great hospitality. Amazing breakfast served. Comfortable bed in the Glen Allen Suite. Not the inn's fault, but there is a train that runs nearby every 30 min up til 2a and begins again at 6a. Other than the train horn, it is super quiet, no road noise.

Above and beyond our expectations

Every part of our stay was exceptional! The house and the property are beautiful, the room we stayed in was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, bountiful and full of fun lively conversation! Could not recommend this bed and breakfast more and we will be staying there anytime we're in RVA!

We loved our stay at the Virginia Cliffe Inn; a truly unique and beautiful property. There was a wedding being held in the backyard, and we were worried at first about the noise, but we needn't worry. Promptly at 10:00 pm all the noise ceased, and we heard not a peep all night. Very peaceful. Glen Allen Suite is large with a comfortable bed, and is beautifully furnished. Judy fixed an amazing breakfast; she's quite the chef. We look forward to coming back next time we are in the Richmond area.

This is one of our all time favorite stays! The Inn was one of the first places that popped up in my search. I’m so very glad! We came for a funeral (sad, stressful, etc) but the staff were so kind and lovely… it made it all so much easier to bear! I wish we could have stayed a few more days! I can’t say enough about how wonderful everyone was. Comfortable, spacious accommodations, beautiful grounds, easy parking, quiet, and located close to so many wonderful parks, activities, etc. Breakfast was wonderful every morning and our final morning was a real treat (Strawberry Croissant French Toast - Thank you, Janice). We left feeling like we made friends and had stayed with family (such a great trip)! This would make a great date weekend getaway! We will absolutely stay here again!!
