We stayed at Rest for our anniversary and were welcomed warmly. The staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our experience! Thomas the general manager was great, he made us reservations at Taste and told us about the area. The restaurant is owned by the same couple that owns Rest. Outstanding meal and staff at Taste as well. They all really made our night special. This is a diamond in the rough!!!

We had an amazing stay at the Davies Family Inn. Jim and Linda were exceptional hosts and personally made sure that we were completely satisfied with our amenities and comfort. Linda even made sure to stock our wood pile while we were out sightseeing. We will for sure go back to The Davies Family Inn. Thank you so much Jim and Linda.

Sue and Roger are innkeepers par excellence! Their Inn, amenities, delicious breakfasts and delightful iced tea, wine and cheese hours are just wonderful. Not to be missed!

Greatest Hotel Casino I’ve ever stayed in 👍

I did not like that their were only stairs to get to the check in. With all of my luggage it was quite the haul.

Nice place. Good price. Good access/parking. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. Zero to complain about.

The view from the window was incredible, the room was spacious and up to date. The bed was comfortable and the shower was to die for. New favorite place to stay in Amador County

The Innkeeper was wonderful, three-course breakfast was outstanding. Property is upscale, warm, and beautiful. I would go again in a heartbeat.

It’s in the heart of the town cozy old haunted hotel they say ..i don’t mind staying again

This is our second time here and, as with our previous stay, we had a very pleasant experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. As the 2-queen room we booked online might have been needed by another family with kids, staff offered to upgrade us to a suite at no extra cost--score! The suite was pretty nice offering a separate living area with its own TV. It was roomy, clean, comfortable. Continental serve yourself breakfast was a nice added touch; fruit, instant oatmeal, prepared cheese...

Loved my hotel stay as i was not bothered by the staff and the buffet was tasty

Thanks for a lovely stay. Helpful, friendly

Fantastic old hotel. Very clean and staff was amazing

I need lodging over night to work the storms. This is the best place for business people to stay. Clean, nice, and very convenient.

The management is very nice and they work hard at making everything about the rooms and the stay top quality. Over the phone my reservations were handled with professional expertise and courtesy. The rooms were clean and the hotel allows small pets for a reasonable fee - which made our visit with family in the area worry free. The room came with an enclosed patio which was a nice detail extending the relaxing comfort of the room. The breakfast room is one of the very best I have visited - even...

It is great place to stay in Placerville, if you don't have do not disturb sign they do the regular room sevice thing. Very kind and nice people work thier. Great place to stay.

This was an absolutely amazing place. We came for my birthday and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good especially compared to other similar properties. Each morning, they changed their menu and it was always quite tasty. The staff kept everything full [buffet style] and they were always ready for a crowd. The restaurant next to the Best Western served a very tasty dinner. The menu was mostly Indian food . I requested it to be mild and they had no issues with my request.
