You can see that it's an older home, but we enjoyed the stay. My granddaughters loved the bay windows just to sit and watch the elk. My little dog just stared at them never barked at them. The good - you get a lot of square footage for the price. It's a nice, clean, cute house and a good location. Elk graze in a nearby field almost nightly, and I saw deer and a variety of birds in the yard several times. Plenty of cooking supplies, including spices. The bad - all the beds are super firm. If I hadn't gone on 5 hour hikes every day (thus making me exhausted) I'm not sure I would have been able to sleep. Even my gf who prefers hard beds said it was too hard. Everything about it is dark, drab and outdated (think, 1985...maybe). Much more so than the pictures online depict. Everything about the house needs an update, particularly the bathrooms, which were marginally functional. The overall condition of the house weakened our vacation experience. It was the perfect location; a bit off the beaten path without being secluded.
