Walk out the gate and into nature, Black Redstart in the garden and stunning blue Roller in the adjoining fields. Straight into the pool and saunter about as much as we liked. Take the car a short run to Nimes and the Pont du Gard for all the Roman heritage, to Saint Gilles for a sumptuous meal. Or into the Camargue and wonder at the flamingos, herons and buzzards, with the occasional sighting of an eagle. So much to see and do, yet every opportunity to relax in tranquillity. Our hosts were ideal, there when we needed them for advice or assistance, friendly and knowledgeable of the area and always willing to help.
