"Really great arrival and welcome from the property manager who patiently dealt with our inability to speak French and managed to give us a detailed tour. Incredibly friendly owner who had a genuine interest in our safety and enjoyment…and as for the property…wow! Amazing! A bargain and it feels a lot bigger than in the photographs when you’re actually there which was perfect for our big family of 12!"

"Ein herrlich Kleines Häuschen mit allem, was man braucht für eine Ausgangsbasis für unvergessliche Touren mit Rennrad, MTB oder wie in unserem Fall mit Einzylindermotorrädern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist leider nur eine Ausziehbare Couch im Durchgangszimmer."

Villa was spotless and spacious and all the appliances worked. Be aware that towels are not provided. Dealing with Vrbo was not easy. We needed to talk to them about a French legal requirement for liability insurance and the only contact number I could find was a USA premium rate line. Cost me £35 for a 7 minute conversation and they failed to call me back...

"Good location, very nice pool, and host, who lives on site, has very good English and is more than happy to assist. Property itself suffered a number of faults whilst we were there however. Village has bar, restaurant and shop and more facilities are in next village 4 km away. Good base to explore the Var region and less than 1.5 hours from Nice."

"The property is large and beautiful in so many ways. It was beyond our expectations and even the lovely photos do not do it justice. There are three separate outdoor areas: the beautiful front entry way where we played pétanque and ping pong, the pool area with the summer house where we sometimes had dinner and grilled over an open fire and the gorgeous back garden with a patio dining area where we ate most of our meals. "Upon booking, the villa appeared promising. However, our stay was marred by several issues. Upon arrival, we noticed overflowing trash bins from prior guests. Despite our expectations, no one came to clear them, leaving us to manage our waste in an already congested space. To our dismay, upon departure, we were chided for leaving trash, despite our efforts to minimize waste and responsibly segregate recyclables. Additionally, a tropical storm damaged two sun umbrellas during our stay, for which...

"We hebben genoten van het grote zwembad met ligstoelen en relaxstoelen. Terras aan het huis is omheind. De grote tuin wordt op sommige plekken alleen met struiken van de buren gescheiden.We hebben ook dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de Fitnessapparaten beneden en ‘s avonds van de televisie met surround systeem in de woonkamer. Het dorp zelf heeft hele nauwe straatjes. Wij vonden de supermarkten in de buurdorpen beter dan in Tourves. Fijn huis voor een relaxvakantie."

Surrounding area is quite rural but local towns and coast are 15 - 30 mins drive. The approach road is unmade and slightly bumpy. "Unseasonably chilly and wet weather gave us a very cold welcome to this lovely house which had not been used for a number of weeks. A plea to the agent for temporary warmth led very quickly to a call from owner Caroline who resolved the problem satisfactorily. The house and the weather gradually warmed up, and by the end of the week we were wishing we could stay longer. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable and had wonderful views over the countryside across to the hills in the distance....

"Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. La maison est très bien équipée, les propriétaires sont passés en milieu de séjour pour entretenir la piscine et étaient soucieux de notre confort. Les photos sont fidèles à la réalité, il leur manque le son! Si on a effectivement les cigales, on a aussi le bruit de la route en contre-bas. Le bruit était conséquent le jour de notre arrivée,un samedi, c était contrariant. Heureusement, le traffic est moins intense le reste de la semaine et la nuisance...
