“Overall, found the staff to be very friendly and courteous; the only reason I was unable to give five stars was due to my room smelling like stale cigarette smoke, despite being a smoke-free room (no fault of the owners). The building is quite old, but appears to be maintained within reason. The room was clean, and everything worked as expected. For the price, I cannot complain!”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Inn in Ocean Grove. Close to the beach and was easy to walk around town. We stayed in the BelCanto room - second floor facing front. There is a bit of an ocean view. There is also a cute little patio to step out and enjoy the view. Room was spacious enough for a two day stay. Bathroom is clean and efficient. Breakfast was lovely in the cute dining area on first floor. Ashley was super friendly and attentive as well as the rest of the staff. We truly……

“I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee……

“A wonderful place to stay as we explored Asbury Park. Dominick couldn't have been more helpful. Only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. Very highly recommended - will hopefully return one day!”

“Even though the staff was very polite and service oriented the building was old, the showers and bathrooms were community showers and bathrooms in each floor. In the shower the handles had mold. When anyone in the building open a faucet, flushed the toilet or showered you could hear it in the dinning room area located in the basement. We were staying in the 3rd floor and the staircase was steep with a very low handrail. The floors creaked. In the middle of the night the retractable window……

“The location was perfect. A ½ block from beach. A clean area to walk on the boardwalk. Was off season so nice and empty. The rooms were updated nicely and very clean. The communication with the hotel host liaison, Bernadette, was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and filling, prepared to our specifications. It’s a quaint small establishment but a perfect getaway for the weekend. Would highly recommend!”

“Just an all-around nice experience. It was off season so not so crazy with people like the summer. The area has so much to offer regarding shops and restaurants and the hotel experience was pleasant and relaxing. I didn't get to walk the boardwalk, but will on my next stay.”

“I had a pretty great stay here but there are a few things I’d love to share that I saw other reviewers mentioned as well. For whatever reason our room did not have a functional AC unit, we had to inform the lobby and they instructed us they put in a ticket to get someone to turn it on however no one ever came or repaired it, the room was 71 degrees throughout our entire stay. Not very comfortable for sleeping - we could not open our window as it was crawling with critters and no screen. I’d like……

Furthermore, the television was not working, and the bathtub was dirty.
