"This was our second time staying here because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The hotel is fairly new and modern. It has a beautiful lobby better than some higher end hotels I’ve stayed at. Free breakfast in the morning and hardy, with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. The hotel also has a small shop with a few drinks and snacks if you don’t want to head out for shopping. The location is just minutes from Texas Tech, the reason for our visits. Just be careful that Google Maps had the location incorrect. I tried sending them the right location, so who knows how long that will take to fix? Parking is outside and free. There was always plenty available although the spots up front fill up first."

"From the pictures on the site, I was expecting a secluded large ranch style property with a creek to fish in. The house sits right on the road, neighbors close by. If you want to stay indoors it’s a beautiful house but there is nothing to do outdoors because it was to hot for a campfire for s’mores. Maybe I just had my heart set on a cool creek for fishing. This isn’t on the property and has to be set up ahead of time on a different property."
