“Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”

“Smugglers Notch Inn is a charming place in northern Vermont. Just off of Route 15. Part of the property is 200 years old, the other part is more than 100 years old. Everything is beautifully appointed, the staff is very helpful, and there's a hot, made to order breakfast each morning. We would come here again.”

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……

“The location is nice. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant onsite. Coffee and tea are available in the room. A continental breakfast in the lodge would be a nice addition. Even if they brought in bagels, muffins and toast. Also, they were renovating the mens lockeroom so that wasn't available, the hot tub wasn't really hot, and the sauna wasn't working. No USB ports in the rooms. ”

“Poolside comfy. Cookies and tea from 4:00-5:00pm daily is a nice touch if you happen to be around at that time ”

“Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Room was newly renovated, thoughtfully furnished with modern touches like multi USB charging port, enough towel racks in the bathroom. All the little touches that chain hotels seem to miss! The common area was well stocked with books and games, and a lovely veranda to enjoy free Little Jay coffee and high end teas from, all complimentary. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which was in the “budget” wing called the motel. It sure didn’t feel budget at all! Highly……

“We stayed here for our Anniversary and it was awesome! The room was modern and very cozy. The hotel was located in the middle of Stowe, Vermont so finding a good place to eat isn't hard to find. The fire pit outside along with the hot tub and sauna were also amazing. Overall, we would definitely comeback to a future trip in Stowe. On the side note, the breakfast spread is so good, just hits like home! ”

“The hotel was so cozy and welcoming. Clean, nice staff, food/bar, hot tub, outdoor pool, scenic views, etc. It is close to all the stores and restaurants, Stowe rec trail is right behind it through the backyard. Will definitely stay here again in one of the cabins when we come back.”
