“This was a wonderful experience. The host family was charming, considerate, and very accommodating. The pictured stairway is the entrance to the host's single family home. The host family lives upstairs over the one bedroom, one bathroom, work from home (wfh) studio apartment, which is on the ground floor. Everything was clean. The "kitchen" has a small (dorm size) refrigerator/freezer, sink, griddle, microwave, a coffeepot, some cabinet storage and a counter area. Folgers coffee, coffee……

“Former Atl native in for the World Cup with my young son and needed a last-minute reservation for a place with a kitchen. On the day before checkout from this property, my son mentioned that the kitchen faucet (that we’d been drinking from for two days) was “squishy.” I looked closely and there was a thick layer of sludgy mold on the aerator where the water comes out. “We booked a while back and when we arrived, we were told they didn't have a room for us. They had our booking confirmation but somehow that didn't mean they saved a room for us. This should have been communicated ahead of time, not when we get there after a long day of traveling. We had an event to get to so this made for a hectic night of trying to find a place to stay, rush to get ready and get to the event. Absolutely unacceptable”
