Otter Hotel

Otter Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Property is well located with public transport right at the door. Outdoor heat pool and spa is a big plus. Hotel rooms are tidy and have a good sized beds. Guest laundry is handy. Microwave , iron are not included as standard amenities but provided on request. On the flip side , the so called room with a view on third floor is right against the central air conditioning unit, which remains quite noisy all times."

"Loved the restaurant on site, an outstanding breakfast menu! The staff is outstanding and friendly throughout the hotel at all positions. The in-room fireplace and pour-over coffee amenities really made for an upscale, cozy experience. The location at the end of Banff’s main street was only a 15 minute walk from the downtown area and the hustle and bustle of that area. We could have stayed anywhere in the park, glad we stayed here!"

"We and our pets had the most spectacular stay at this hotel. If you have the chance to book Gold status it makes all the difference. The staff and facilities were amazing. Yes the bathrooms are on the small side as this is a UNESCO property so there were limitations in how they could be designed. But everything else was phenomenal. There are so many people we want to thank from Hamish in the valet who greeted us by name! to Chamath, Caitlin, Katie, Georgia, Chris(also in valet) , Olivier, Shane and the best housekeeper Howard! We look forward to coming to visit Banff again as it is truly one of the most spectacular places to go!"
