“The property is old and in desperate need of a major update. The room a/c didn’t work and it was loud. The walls and floors had marks and were dirty. The pillows were half the size of standard ones. The shower floor was moldy and we had to shower with shoes on. The furniture in the room and in the lobby was broken, stained and gross. The pool water color was yellow, and the pool deck was in need of repair. There were no “do not disturb” signs available and in spite of the door being locked and……

“I was in town for my son's freshman- orientation for USC and I hadn't booked my hotel room yet, so I had time to look at the different hotels in the area. I was looking for something that was well maintained with a decent size pool that was clean. I also wanted it to be in a good location. I decided to stay about 10 minutes away from USC so it wasn't as busy and a little less expensive. I found this hotel to be in a good location with great hospitality. The grounds were immaculate and the pool……

“I am a solo traveler per se, and another one in my room. It was just me and family in another room. The room was very clean. Did not have any issues with anything except maybe it took a minute for the water to get hot. It did get hot. The staff were very nice very friendly very helpful the property was clean. It was free parking and the breakfast was decent although it would’ve been nice to have a microwave inside of the breakfast area to heat up the cheese and some other stuff but anyway……

“Very disappointing overall. I will not stay here again. The one positive was that they put out a nice breakfast. Although the property and rooms were clean, many expected amenities were non-existent. For instance, there was no soap - neither bar nor dispenser - in the bathroom. We had 2 shampoos and one conditioner in the shower. I had to go to the lobby to request hand soap. An empty Kleenex tissue box holder was there, but was never filled with tissues the entire 5 days.
