This exceptional vacation rental offers high-end amenities, stunning location, and top-tier guest experience. Honey's Haven is everything you could imagine! A home large enough to host multiple families with room to spare. Upon entering this home, you will find the open floor plan has plenty of space to drop your bags at the door and start your vacation immediately! The main floor offers a living area with cable TV, a kitchen large enough for multiple cooks, spacious laundry room, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 and 2, both offer comfortable queen beds and share a bathroom with a soaking tub. Bedroom 3, the main floor master bedroom, has a king size bed, large TV, and ensuite bathroom. Did we mention the master walk in shower has 3 shower heads? Just off of the kitchen, is a screened in back porch with cozy seating is perfect for morning coffee or unwinding with an evening cocktail. As you head upstairs, you realize the home is much larger than it appears from the road! Located at the top of the steps, bedroom 4 & 5 host a queen bed in each room. A playful bunk room that sleeps 4, in addition to the separate entertainment room, is the perfect place for kids to hang out, watch movies, or play games. Through the bunk room is a kitchenette that leads to the upstairs master bedroom. This spacious room has a king size bed, TV, ensuite bath, and a private entrance to the backyard. Speaking of the backyard... the charming fenced in yard with a private pool and Weber gas grill is great for those moments you're not at the beach or exploring the island. The pool has the option to be heated for an additional fee. Not pictured, are 6 lounge chairs, 2 rocking chairs, and 2 Adirondack chairs that surround the pool. Honey's Haven is located 0.1 miles to the Village Area! This grants the option to walk, bike, or skip to the Island's most popular restaurants and shops. After contacting the property manager an appliance repairman (Mr Osborne, very pleasant and knowledgeable) came that afternoon. His initial try to fix the issue did not work and we contacted him again the following morning. He returned a second time but at this point he determined he could not repair it and the decision of what to do would be between the property owner and the property manager.We never heard from the manager until we called them the day prior to our departure to ask what type of compensation we could expect for our lost freezer food, ice purchases and overall inconvenience. Several hours later we received an offer of 150 (roughly 20 per day) which we accepted despite feeling it was not very generous all things being considered.The bottom line is we were there for 7days with no freezer.Nine days later we had to contacted the management company again as we had not yet received our refund. Shortly after it was credited to our card.Overall the house was fantastic except for the above problem. Clean, nicely furnished and decorated, spacious, and comfortable. (The only room needing a bit of attention was the kitchen. Need more than one cookie sheet, some pans severely scratched and unusable, some non- metal spatulas needed for cookware to avoid scratching, and some of the cookware and dishes were put away dirty before our arrival. We came down to Brunswick for a high school soccer playoff game, which we won, and coming back to a nice comfortable place to stay was even better. All the kids as well as adults were super please. Great place and I highly recommend staying here. We loved how close it was to everything we needed. We never drove our cars as we simply walked about 200 yards to the nice downtown area. Good space, comfortable beds, convenient location. Only negatives are poor provisions (for this type and level of VRBO) - microscopic soap, 2 trash bags for a house of 16 for 3 nights, no dish towels, 1 roll paper towels, no salt and pepper, etc. But we had a GREAT time and loved our trip.
