"Parking was kind of odd and you had to kinda guess which way to go other than under the registration canopy. For the price, the room was adequate and the area quiet and the side parking lot well lit. Beds were a little soft for me....but okay. Breakfast was pretty much the standard when a breakfast is provided....scramble eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, waffles, juice and sugar packets etc. were well stocked. Coffee was really good!"

"For an overnight stay in Athens, this was perfect. I appreciated how clean everything is, breakfast selection was very decent and fresh, staff was smiling and welcoming. Room was perfect for a quick business trip, loved that there was no creepy bed spread, everything looks pretty new and well maintained. If all HIExpress locations are like that, that will be my go-to."

"Mattress was hard, sheets rough, towels stained, shower dirty. Bad location on noisy road. They lock the lobby to keep homeless out, saw them tell one to leave when he tried to get through locked doors. The free breakfast was worthless, no coffee and practically out of food by 7AM. "

"The staff was very, very kind and helpful. The cookies at the front desk were delicious. My bed was very clean. The linens were very clean. The landscaping around the hotel is pretty nice. However, the hotel is rundown and old. It’s in serious need of a renovation. It looks way better in pictures than it does in real life. If you want an upscale hotel that’s semi luxurious, this is not it."

"My bathroom inside my room was absolutely unacceptable upon arrival. There was fecal matter and urine all over the toilet, which made the space unsanitary and uncomfortable. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the issue, but I was told no one could clean the bathroom until the next morning. No alternative room, upgrade, compensation, or refund was offered. The lack of cleanliness and customer service made this an extremely disappointing experience."
