  • Welcome to our peaceful getaway on Rocky Bottom creek. This 2BR 1BA rustic cabin has so much to offer. The large yard is private and bordered by 2 creeks. It is the perfect place to relax to the sounds of nature. There are many scenic vistas, waterfalls, and hiking trails nearby. Jocassee Gorges was voted “One of 50 of the World’s Last Great Places”. Attractions such as Table Rock, Sassafras, Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee are within a few minutes drive.
    The space
    2Br/1Ba home with modern amenities. Hardwood floors, original wood trim and true rocking chair front porch add to the character of this mountain getaway. The cabin has an open floor plan featuring large living room with a sleeper sofa, rock fireplace and kitchen with large island. One bedroom has one queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 queen beds. Bathroom has walk in shower and stackable washer/dryer. This is an older home so layout is a little funky, to go to the bathroom you have to walk through the master bedroom. Creek gets stocked several times a year with trout by DNR.

    Other things to note
    This a secluded location in a small community. Closest store is 15 minutes away and large grocery store 30 minutes either in Pickens or Brevard so come prepared with all you need.

Reunion with nature

Great relaxing weeklong stay! comfortable rooms with a fully stocked kitchen. The peaceful sound of Rocky Bottom Creek was a great setting to unwind from the days of hiking and fly fishing. Lots to explore nearby!! Great escape to explore Upstate SC and Western NC. Will happily be back.

Fun weekend

We had a wonderful time. Great place to stay. Sassafras Mountain is very close and has an awesome view. The stream out back was very relaxing while sitting by the fire. Would love to come back again.

My wife and I stayed at Ole Blue with our 10 month old daughter and had a great time. Our daughter loved the open floor plan and crawled around on the hardwood floors. We visited with our family in the area and went to the pickin parlor in Pumpkintown, SC on Friday night. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cozy cabin with every you need for a comfortable stay. We were looking for something close to outdoor activities and shopping and this was perfect! We were able to go into Brevard to shop, hike and go tubing and then relax at the cabin. Sitting by the fire pit and listening to the creek was relaxing. We even spotted a cute little cub which was a treat! Berenice was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Ole Blue. Easy mountain drive. Every morning we ventured out to the many sites to see in the area and came for a nice, comfortable evening at the cabin. My kids loved playing in the creek every day and having backyard fires.

This is the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful getaway. There are so many beautiful places to explore in this area. The cabin is so quaint and has all the immenities that you need. Relaxing by the Creek in the evening was the highlight to our trip.
