"Pros- Cozy little hotel on the Mumbles waterfront. The rooms are spacious with several amenities like a coffee and tea maker. Convenient to the local shops and pier restaurants. Nice pub/restaurant downstairs. It is a nice property to base your exploration of the Gower peninsula area. Lots of beautiful shoreline to explore with many golden sand beaches. Cons - It is on a busy street that has a lot of traffic on the weekends. There is also construction for the next year or so on the waterfront walk to upgrade the flood protection. Work only starts about 8:00 so doesn't wake you early. "

"I’ve stayed at The Dolphin twice for a boy’s night out in Swansea, and I’ve got to say both stays have been absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic with everything within crawling distance and the staff have always been so friendly. They consistently beat the price of the Premier Inn and Travelodge as well. My room last night was absolutely spotless and exactly what I needed after a night partying on Wind Street. All my mates stayed in the Dolphin as well and all said the same thing. Thank you Dolphin for giving us middle aged men a warm, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to sleep after our Swansea night out! We’ll be back again!"

"I like the location as it is downtown and everything is very accessible. It is easy to get to the bus station and the train station from there.. There is 24 hour service and they attend to everything you need including finding taxis late into the night. The room is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. "

"Fantastic place to stay in Mumbles, near the beach walk and lots of pubs and restaurants. The internet was very good, and they provide a nice continental breakfast selection within the room. Be aware that there is no parking at the Boathouse, and parking on the street is a possibility, but you'll probably end up using one of the pay and go lots along Mumbles Road."
