"We visited the area to see family. The property front desk clerk was professional and friendly. This property is perfect for those that want to enjoy the area and not be room bound. Bed was comfortable even if some items in the room are dated. It is reflected in pricing so I am not critical. "This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "
