The staff was pleasant and helpful. The free all day fresh made coffee in the lobby, including cappuccino and lattes, was a nice touch. The light breakfast was adequate. “Positives. Perfect location for Old Montreal. Check in/out perfect. Room was spotless, well stocked and prepared. Concierge service helpful. Negatives. Room 106 had a nightclub right underneath which very loud till 1:00 am and people partied right outside the windows making sleep impossible. Room desperately needs a dresser cabinet. Washroom sink counter has almost no space. Vanity lighting really needed.”

“This hotel was beyond amazing! When you enter the hotel you are greeted by the most intimate lounge, amazingly nice staff followed by quick and easy self check in stations. The room was spotless, and had every amenity you could imagine. Every detail in the room was so well thought out. It’s a boutique hotel so it’s not loud in any way, and the front staff remember you right away as you come and go. Overall this property is a breath of fresh air and offers every comfort you could imagine. A bonus……

“Being the first time to visit Montreal, Hotel William Gray definitely impressed me, for both its location and staffs. It is located inside the old Montreal area, that means you are easily to enjoy the day and night scene of the area. You may choose any restaurant (in which there are a lot of restaurants to choose) you like and return to the hotel within 5 minutes walk. Besides, the hotel is just 10 minutes walk to the metro station, it is easy for tourists to sightsee around the city. For the……

“Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean, with visible stains on the carpets, walls, and curtains, and every surface was covered in dust. The photos online did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. Due to the cleanliness concerns, we chose not to stay overnight. We requested a refund, but the owner was unwilling to accommodate our concerns. Overall, the property was not as advertised, and we would not recommend it based on our experience.”
