"I booked The Hollies as a place to celebrate my birthday with family. It was everything and more than I could have asked for. The location, interior design, quality of everything in the hours and the garden were top class. This house has been so well designed and has created the most relaxing environment as well as providing entertainment for all. I booked the owner of local restaurant for the Saturday night and she cooked 5 star dinner for us at the house. We also used the Big Green Egg on the...

Upper Villa, Tighnabruiach with stunning views of Kyles of Bute

"We stayed over New Years for 5 days. About 10 days too short. Well appointed, cosy. Brilliant for self catering. Close enough to the town. Lovely walks. We’ve stayed in many places in Wales and Cornwall. This was just so nice. As Londoners it’s further away but worth the trip. We had 2 families here, plenty of space and enough room for the adults to get away, I mean allow the kids room for independent play. Hope we can revisit in the near future."

"We stayed at Gate Cottage for Christmas 2022 (22nd - 27 Dec) The Cottage comfortably sleeps 6 and is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and all the kitchen equipment needed. The cottage is lovely and cosy with a log burner (enough logs for our 5 days stay). The Cottage is in the heart of the beautiful village of Kames, with Kyles of Bute literally on the door step. A wonderful home from home experience with wonderful surrondings on the lovely Argyll and...
