Very clean and quiet room. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was just right size and functional. Kitchen and dining table were perfect for us. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Towels were replaced daily. Only downside was that it does not have a spa.

Room was old and small but manageable. Clean towels daily. Water pressure for shower was perfect. Didn't hear any noise. Staff were very helpful when transferring our luggage to Kyoto. Location was ideal for us since it was close to everything we wanted to do and see.

What a gem

Room was small but as described so no surprise there. Otherwise it far exceeded our expectations. Excellent location, quiet, clean, well serviced everything we needed.

Took a family trip to Japan and the Act Hotel was our first stay of several. Although it’s a small boutique hotel it had great amenities and comfortable beds. The location was in a nice quiet area and near transit stations. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

For the price it’s a good hotel. However, staff just seemed like they did not care about you or want to talk to you that much. With that being said, we did not have any issues with them or with our stay. It was a small room, but for the price it’s well worth it. Additionally it’s in a very good location and next to the station.

Nice hotel and neighborhood

It’s a very nice place to stay if u like quiet neighborhood and super convenient! There are so many nice restaurants around and super close to metro station. If u love museums, there are so many famous museums around the area. And there is a free ice cream machine in the hotel lobby for every costumer!

We had an excellent stay at the ACT Hotel. It was clean, staff was pleasant. We had towel service daily. Room was small depending on where you are used to staying. We came from the United states so this was a very small room but it was comfortable, clean, had everything that we needed in it. We even had to use the laundry room and it was clean. Very conveniently located to subway, restaurants, convenient stores and mall. I would definitely stay again.

The room was small as normal Tokyo hotels are but very cozy and the appliances worked well and were of quality. The water pressure was great and the temperature controls were effective. Stayed for one night. The downside was no room cleaning during the stay and the blinds (we had 2 windows right above the bed) were not blackout

Was staying there to visit an exhibition at the National Art Center Tokyo (NACT). It was a very good location with 5 min walk to both the subway station and the NACT. The hotel also offers free soft ice, though I didn't try it.

Loved this location! Hidden gem! When first arriving walked past it, so look for small street between Lawson and Family Mart, it is located behind them. Lots of choices for food; Shake shack, Cinnabon and much more! Very close to Roppongi station, which was also great for daily train travel. Had a few questions operating lights in room, very patient and fast help from front desk. Would stay here again!

I stayed at ACT HOTEL Roppongi. The location is excellent, only about a 3-minute walk from Roppongi Station Exit 2, and close to Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown. However, the stay had many downsides. To reach the front desk you must go down stairs, which is hard with luggage. Some rooms are on a semi-basement floor, and during heavy rain I worried about flooding. The room was fine for one person but the shower was extremely small, and there was no outlet at the desk. Because the room was half underground, the window let in almost no natural light, making it feel closed. Noise was a big issue. I could hear voices from the lobby late at night, people talking in front of the laundry, and even music played at high volume. It felt more like a foreign hostel than a Japanese hotel. Most guests and staff are foreigners, so the atmosphere is international, but those expecting quiet or Japanese-style service may be disappointed. Another point: the only plan I saw was prepaid and non-refundable with a 100% cancellation fee. There is an elevator, but the sign is small and easy to miss. This hotel is only good for those who care about location. If you want a quiet, comfortable stay, it is not recommended.

The hotel is wonderfully located, just in the heart of Roppongi, yet very silent. The room I rented was very small and not particularly fancy, yet adequate. No restaurant or breakfast service. The staff was very kind.
