“This was a waste of money. To begin with, the listing said beach access, so I spent more than I intended, thinking I could easily walk to water. There is NO beach access near this house. It was blatant false advertising, and the photos on the site were angled to look like a beach was nearby. There is no beach! I have some mobility issues and instead of a short walk, I ended up on town beaches where I had to walk a lot. This lie ruined my vacation.Also, there is a significant safety issue. ……

“Overall this was a good vacation rental.Please be aware! The heat is not whole-house, only the main living room and kitchen is heated via one heat vent in the corner. No bedrooms or bathroom are heated. While this is ideally a non-issue during the summer season, this rental is not good for year-round activities. Luckily the door to living room closed which helped keep us warm on the cold nights, but it was still cold as we slept in the living room each night. The heat was the only negative……

"AVOID THIS HOTEL One of the towels provided had a brown stain that was extremely ugly (doubt it may be undesirable marks, with a bad smell). What's worse is that I discovered it after shower when I was using it. This was unacceptable, especially for an esteemed vacation house like this. When I reported the issue to the front desk during check out, I received no apology and was told that no compensation could be offered because the booking was made through a third party (on Expedia), and the front desk could do nothing about it. He said he would report to the manager, and I received no follow-up. I find this response both unprofessional and disappointing. I also wrote an email to the management team and received no response. The general experience was unpleasant. I hope I can receive proper settlement from the hotel management team."
