"Staying at Hotel Royal Victoria in Varenna felt like stepping straight into a movie. The moment you walk outside, the views are absolutely unreal every angle looks like a postcard. We truly loved every second of our stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything yet still peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights was being able to take a limo boat directly from the dock out back such a seamless and unforgettable experience. Waking up each morning and stepping onto the balcony to those breathtaking lake views was something special. A big shoutout to Aziz at the bar, a true gem. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and added a personal touch that really stood out. If you’re considering staying here, don’t think twice. Highly recommend."

"One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Should be at the price we paid. Great amenities. Pool area n hot tub gorgeous. One thing I didn’t like was room service food. It was ok we did it twice n twice we barely ate the food. Rooms were impeccable and beautiful views from our balcony terrace. Staff very nice and helpful."

"We booked a superior room and unfortunately the room was located on the Ferry parking. There was no other room unless we spent 700$ extra for the 3 nights. We hardly slept that night. We insisted and got for the other 2 nights a room at the center of the building on same floor 2. Floors 3 and 4 have been renovated but the others need refurbishing. Location of the hotel otherwise is excellent and breakfast buffet delicious. Menaggio is charming"

"Our one night stay at the hotel was easily our favorite night of our two week trip. The room was absolutely stunning, everything was clean and every little detail of the room lay out, the dinner menu at the hotel restaurant, and the staff met every expectation and beyond. We had trouble getting a taxi to and from the hotel because we happened to be there on May 1st, and the staff at the front desk spent a lot of time and effort calling taxis for us so we didn’t miss our flight back home. Every staff member was incredibly kind and pleasant to interact with. I’m honestly sad we didn’t stay there longer. Thank you!! "

"Everything here was perfect. The room was very nice and modern, the staff was extremely sweet and helpful. Matteo and Ingrid were who we saw the most and they went above and beyond what we could ever expect. The complimentary breakfast every day was very, very good. It’s only a few minutes walk to the train which is a 5 minute train ride to Varenna. It was our favorite spot of the 5 places we stayed in Italy."

"This is a fabulous hotel. My wife and I were here for four nights. The lake view room was very comfortable as was the bed. The service from the front desk was wonderful. All of our questions were answered with enthusiasm and warmth. We communicated mostly with Ricardo, and he did a great job. The breakfast spread was fresh and well stocked and was fantastic. The service at breakfast was excellent. I would give this ten stars if I could."
