I’ve stayed at this property before. It’s clean, spacious and well setup. Only minutes drive from the center of town in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended.
After being double booked at another property, we needed a place to stay short notice. We found Dans place and booked it. Dan was very open about his property and the rules of the place and was also very welcoming. When we arrived, the place was very clean and in excellent condition. Beds were comfortable and the environment outside was great to enjoy the cool evening and morning air. This place worked excellent for us, as we were there for the Western Grand trap shoot and only needed a place to stay and cook breakfast, which we did outside on our own griddle each morning under the covered bbq porch. The neighborhood was quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and getting to know Dan and his pup Bluie.
We enjoyed the stay at this property! Dan was knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience even better. This space is close to fun sights and we would gladly stay here again.
The place was great, Dan was so kind and easy to get ahold of/communicate with.
Had everything we needed, and fit us perfectly!
Thank you so much for letting us stay!
We all enjoyed our stay here. It was spacious and very clean. Convenient location just outside of town. Host was welcoming with plenty of good local dining suggestions. This worked well as a base for our hiking and mountain biking excursions.
We recently stayed at this property for a week. It is spacious, quiet, and has all the amenities we needed. We had plenty of room to spread out and Dan the host went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property and intend to stay there on future visits to Vernal.
Very quiet and clean home, in a private country area. Dan was extremely eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and we could tell he takes a lot of pride in his property.
Great location for off-roading. Lots of fully lit parking to accommodate large trucks and trailers . Home was clean and comfortable but a little limited on kitchen supplies. Very nice yard Dan was accommodating.
This was our second time staying at Dan's property. Once again, we were visiting my son who works at Dinosaur National Monument. We chose to stay here once again because our first visit was so pleasant. Once again, we had an easy booking, and communication was outstanding. The home and property are extremely clean and comfortable. Dan is always available and is a fantastic host. This is a great launching point for visits to Dinosaur National Monument, Flaming Gorge, and all other areas nearby. It is a great place to relax together after visiting all day.
This guy is probably the worst. He set the temp high, and refused to bring it down. He would not allow us to cook anything in his house because he did not want the smell. Then he refused to answer his phone or email. Literally any other VRBO is better than this one.
I wish I could rate this 0 stars. We were a group of 5 staying for 2 weeks, and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. At first, the house seemed clean and the owner friendly, but things changed fast. The host had extreme, over-the-top rules posted all over the house. Blinds were zip-tied open so he could peek inside, which he did multiple times. He admitted watching us and commented on how we moved a table — proving he was monitoring us constantly. Windows were locked, cameras were everywhere, and Wi-Fi was controlled. He even claimed he could see our browsing history. He racially profiled us, made homophobic remarks when we shared beds, and sent threatening messages over harmless things, including a shirtless friend standing outside. One night, he sent a long message adding strict new rules mid-stay, including curfews, no electronics use at night, and Wi-Fi shutoffs after 11 p.m.We couldn’t cook, use the washer/dryer, or relax without being watched or criticized. The only good thing was his dog. This stay was invasive, discriminatory, and stressful. Do yourself a favor and do not book this property
We were visiting my oldest son, who works at Dinosaur National Monument, and we needed a place to stay. We looked at local hotels, but we decided to stay here. We are all glad that we did so. FIrst, booking was very easy. I simply chose the dates that we wanted to stay and clicked to book. Within minutes, our booking was confirmed. Shortly after that, we received the information on door entry and wifi connection...quick and easy!
The house is extremely clean, which makes it all the more inviting. It is well-appointed, and everything is convenient. The 80s game system is fun for all ages. Wifi connection provides fast access to the internet without interruption. The furniture and beds are all very comfortable. Although we did no cooking, there is enough to make meal preparation easy.
The yard is large and has a nice swing for relaxing. There is a garden in the yard as well, which adds to the home-like atmosphere.
Finally, Dan is helpful and accommodating, offering anything that he can to make your stay more comfortable and convenient.
If you are considering a stay in the area, I highly recommend staying here. It is a clean, comfortable, and cozy getaway.
The home was very clean, and everything was exactly as it's pictured in the listing. The house was quiet and easy to find, while still being close to area attractions. Overall it was a great house for a weekend getaway with the kids.
This property is large and enjoyable to walk. Animals, wildlife everywhere. We loved how clean everything was as well as it just has a comfortable feel.
This was the cleanest home ever! The yard was huge and the time by the fire was memorable cooking dogs over a flame on a beautiful night out... playing classic arcade games on his arcade machine was nostalgic. The beds were comfortable... water pressure in the shower was amazing. We booked this property again next week
