"Room was clean, small, staff okay, not always in sight, but knock on door, they come!
Lots of restaurants near by, not bad location! You can fine breakfast close by, too bad they don’t serve an easy breakfast in the lounge area, they have a table and chairs.
Owner is very nice! Family run hotel!"
"Nice location, beautiful views from window, and a beautiful property. The best part were the views from the living room and the kitchen. However, the building was empty on the weekend, and in the absence of a local reception, we didn’t know how to contact anyone in case if we needed help. It was also somewhat not so easy to find the building when we got there first time."
"Very nice place, setup nicely and well kept, it checkin is entirely online and relatively simple and straightforward. The neighbourhood is a bit away from the center but has many ways by transit close by or it is walkable, just abit long."

Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! We reserved the spa for 10:00 in the evening -- perfect end to a day full of walking. It was about a 10 minute walk from the subway station to the hotel. The staff was very, very accommodating. When we arrived in Vienna, many streets were closed for a parade and the taxi could not get closer than 1 km from the hotel. I am mobility impaired and the hotel sent someone with a wheelchair to take me to the hotel and then he returned to take my companion with 2 suitcases to the hotel. Service in excess! The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the staff was the best! Next time in Vienna I will definitely return.

Quite pleased with our stay here. Room was clean and well appointed with a really eclectic and luxurious look. Beds were a bit stiff for us and we had to ask for more pillows which they happily provided. Breakfast was wonderful. Didn’t get to try the other two restaurants/bars. Would def stay again. It’s near westbanhoff which made it very convenient

Would definitely recommend Habyt Vienna! First, the location is not at the centre but is one train plus a bus ride. It is not difficult at all. It is close to Prater, which is directly connected to Stephenplatz. It is right across a bus stop, which goes directly to Wien Hbf, the main train station.
The rooms are modern and new. The bed is soft. The bathroom is clean and has good water pressure. There is a lounge where there is free nespresso coffee. Luggage storage is EUR10 for 3+ bags. The...

Chose the hotel due to its convenient location between the Hauptbahnhof and the Ring. Though a tiny bit dated (with some recent upgrades) it exceeded expectations; especially the level of attention and care from the staff. We needed to get antigen tests prior to our flight back to the States and were pointed by one gentleman at the front desk to a location near city hall where we could get them on the spot and for free. The beds were comfortable and the room was squeaky clean. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal. We were there for 4 nights, and there was a different printed menu each day. Old apartment building concerted to a boutique hotel. It was done very well with stylish comfortable rooms and nice amenities. If you are looking for a conventional hotel this is not it. If you want a room that is comfortable and stylish with fine amenities coupled with great service, I would highly recommend the Altstadt.

When is the best time to go to Vienna?
The best time to visit Vienna is during the shoulder seasons, specifically April to May and September to October, which offer pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures great for exploring Vienna's many outdoor attractions, such as the Schönbrunn Palace gardens or a leisurely stroll through the city center. The spring brings blooming flowers, while autumn showcases beautiful fall foliage, enhancing the city's already stunning architecture.
These periods also avoid the peak summer tourist rush and the colder winter months, making for a more relaxed and enjoyable trip.
Where can I find the best nightlife in Vienna?
Vienna offers several distinct areas for nightlife, each suiting different preferences.
The Bermuda Triangle, located in the 1st District near Schwedenplatz, is a concentrated area known for its density of bars and pubs. You'll find a mix of traditional Viennese pubs, modern cocktail bars, and places that offer later closing times. It's a popular choice for those looking to hop between several spots in one evening.
The Gürtel, a ring road that encircles parts of the 9th, 16th, and 17th Districts, has a number of venues built into the arches of the former Stadtbahn (city railway). This area is known for its live music venues, especially those featuring alternative and rock bands, as well as some dance clubs. It's a grittier but much-loved option for music lovers.
Along the Donaukanal (Danube Canal), particularly between Schwedenplatz and Urania, you'll find a variety of bars and cafes that transform into lively spots in the evenings, especially during warmer months. Many of these establishments offer outdoor seating and views of the canal, with some featuring DJs playing electronic music.
The Naschmarkt area, specifically around the market itself and the adjacent streets in the 6th District, offers a mix of bars and restaurants that stay open late. You'll find wine bars, cafes that turn into evening hangouts, and some smaller, more intimate cocktail spots. It's a good option for a relaxed evening with good food and drinks.
The 7th District, also known as Neubau, particularly around Mariahilfer Straße and its side streets, has a selection of stylish cocktail bars, designer cafes, and smaller venues that attract a creative crowd.
