"Little Oatlands was the perfect place for our outdoor wedding and we’re very happy we chose it. If you are planning to do the same, and have family stay in the guest house for the weekend, read the contract *carefully*. We skimmed it and failed to realize that you’ll need to take all trash bags to the dumpster by the barn and strip all of the bed sheets and put them downstairs, etc…"

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at a Vrbo rental and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views that greeted us. The location of the rental provided a remote feeling, yet it was conveniently close to everything we needed. One thing that really stood out to us was the host's attention to detail. The rental was clean and decorated in such a cute and charming way. It truly felt like a home away from home....

"We were a group of 10 people with 2 infants and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, nestled in the woods with deers and birds visiting the property. The house had everything we needed from linens to towels to utensils and toiletries. The listing says 4 bedrooms, but the bunk bed area in the basement can also be considered an additonal room. Would definitely recommend this place when visiting Virginia/Shenandoah NP."

"The accommodations were kept very clean and about a 1-2 min walk to The Inn at Little Washington. The town is very small so there are few places to stay outside of the Inn which can be very expensive. This place was a great alternative. Additionally, Oxana was an excellent host who met us as we arrived and gave us loads of information about the town. She was also exceptional with communication leading up to our arrival."

"Property seems to be “mixed use” apartment complex. Some set up as hotel-like short term units and other for long term renters. (maybe section 8 tenants). The unit was as described. Clean and comfortable. Walking to and from the car was a bit anxiety provoking marijuana smoke every where and old unfinished portions of cigars and cigarette butts ever where."

The building has an amazing history, the smokehouse history was fun to learn about, and the town had an event called "first Friday" where local bands and vendors showcased on Friday night, and our host was always attentive to our needs, available, and pleasant.
